a little sorting and tidying is called for.... Day 1



one day

recently

a rather strange lady who sits in the

roomontheleft

decided she wanted to make a little something

the sky had been dark and cloudy for a very long time

and it had rained and rained

she was not feeling her very best

because it seemed Spring had stopped dead in its tracks and let Mr Winter back in

so she needed to make something to bring a smile to her face

one of those

little

oooooo

stamp your feet and shiver

moments

so she decided on a bunnie

but

not just any bunnie

she wanted

one she had dreamed of making for a while

so she scanned the world on the

WWW

and

saw so many cute and not so cute bunnies

some too big and some not quite big enough

some with cute faces and some with not so cute faces

it was very early in the morning so she took her time

bunny bunny bunny

nope not one spoke to her....

so she scanned her machine of wonder

that holds all things ever made

ever

and there it was

...

she found in her many, numerous, lots of, saved but never used

files

on the desk top of her machine

that funnily enough, sits on her desk top

a free pattern for something that was not a bunnie

not a bunnie at all it wasn't

but...

but ..

it had the shape of a bunnie

if she made the legs

shorter

and

the ears

bigger

and floppy

because

she had decided

that she wanted a

floppy

eared

bunnie

so she gathered her tools and off she went

knitting knitting knitting

all morning long

she knitted

a head

a leg then two

an arm and another

she knitted

the ears

long and floppy

she was on her way

to having a

bunnie

and when all the parts came together

there before her

was a

bunnie

a little bunnie fu fu .. :) ..

in all her wonderous glory

starkers

nude

nekkid

unclothed

without attire of any kind

.....

this little bunnie fu fu

immediately demanded

some knickers

for it seemed

she was a very prim and proper little bunnie

so the lady set about knitting her some knickers

and little bunnie fu fu felt much better with her rather strangely shaped knickers

but she told the lady

I can use them for shorts too

so,

is that it, is that all I get

a pair of odd looking short knickers

???

how's about a dress

and a headband with a big bow on it

Oh of course......

you sweet little precious thing you

(bunnie fu fu noticed that this last thing was said through the ladies teeth)

(she wondered if she had teeth)

what sort of dress would you like

she was asked

do you know

bunnie fu fu looked thru all the many, numerous, lots of saved but never used files

and said

hhhmmmmm

and

ummmmmm

and

eeeerrrrrrrr

and

 fu fu thought for a while and said

something pretty and springy

because remember it is

Spring

and if I wear a dress that is the colour of

Spring

it will come

:)

and then turning to the computer

it being the place of all knowledge and know how

said

are you sure you're making me right

am I being constructed correctly

and

you need to learn how to sew me up properly

I look like I have scars

hhmmmm

the lady replied

I haven't a clue what I am doing

but what say you we just wing it

use the knowledge we have acquired

and see what we can come up with

and try to improve as we go

OK?

ok

replied little bunnie fu fu

but make it right

so over the next day and evening

the lady tried this and a lot of that and finally

when the hour was late and the sun had set

and she had gone to bed to rest her weary hands

a new day dawned

a dress was fashioned

and

little bunnie fu fu

was

dressed

with a daffodil coloured dress

with a lace collar

and fru fru sleeves

and

after she demanded a new headband

to co ordinate

because she is a very

co ordinated little miss

she asked to go out and see the

wonderful

wide

world

so out she went

and promptly jumped into a bush

which pricked her

OUCH

she said this isn't fun

what's that over there

a chair said the lady

that is where a proper

prim and proper little bunnie

sits

ah yes of this I approve

said

little bunnie as she jumped into the big and comfortable

non-pricking chair

ok

I'm bored sitting here

now what

off she hopped and went straight up a tree

making little bunnie fu fu noises as she pulled herself up the branches

of this very big tree

and

for a newborn she is quite agile

and she climbed and climbed

until she found a place to rest

this is nice

but it's too cold for little bunnies

I need to go inside

NOW

where she promptly climbed into the branches

and knocked most of the flowers off

but she is young

she will learn

ahchoo

OH

what was that

then she ran into the kitchen when she spied a lookalike

and up she went to meet

Peter

who wasn't very nice and wouldn't share his carrot

and told her

the boots wouldn't fit as she is way too small

and so are you she said

much too small

then she asked him what the strange thing was

that was sitting in front of her

munch, munch, nibble nibble

d'know...'n'egg

think it's what we lay

don't see any chickens round here

so bunnies lay them

OUCH

said little bunnie fu fu

and asked if she may please leave this place of strange things

and

go back to where she came from

where things had become familiar and she liked sitting on the cloud that she came from

and she picked up her poppy

to sit and wait for

Spring

to come back

and

she asked the lady

if she could stay

and when the sun came back

if they could go outside again

and

explore

...

and the lady said

yes!!
